Chocolate 'Rebel' Bars

We've decided to rename Aunt Minerva's Chocolate 'Revel' Bars once we saw how they pitted these sweet brothers against each other.

At first Cole was purely interested in helping take these yummy treats to our next door neighbors (as thanks for daring to watch them one night while Ma and Pop went to dinner. Hey - they volunteered, and they had twins of their own, 35 yrs. ago.)

Don't worry, everyone who helped washed their hands (in a puddle in the driveway.)

Grant added his special touch as well.

Here we see Cole getting a bit greedy with all the temptation, and Grant was catching on.

This was no 'band of brothers' anymore, but every man (or boy) for himself.

Luckily, after less that 60 seconds all was forgotten, and Cole and Grant moved onto more important matters such as bonking heads and chasing kitties.

Are those cute and fashionable little chef aprons?

Actually, they're custom designed mud flaps.

They are very cute aprons. I wish I was a nice mommy to make those for my girls.

I love the last picture of Festus' face of chocolate agony. I know that face well.

Ahem. The items in question are not 'cute', nor are they 'chef aprons' or even, technically, 'mud flaps'. They are manly anti-biohazard suits. The boys wear them when conducting highly technical experiments involving dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO), a suspected carcinogen, and proven factor in acid rain and global warming. Some of their research involves mixtures of various silicates and organic matter, submerged in or diluted with DHMO. You may help sponser their research by sending money or any of a number of so-called 'bathtub toys'. Thank you.

Wow! When you click on full size photo, the rebel bars look even more scrumptious. No wonder the boys were irate.
