Basket Case

Grant and Cole have a special love for getting into things (in many ways). The laundry basket seems to be about the best size, however......the process of both getting in can be a little hazardous. Grant is less aware of the discomfort, of course we've always known he has a hard time understanding "personal space" boundaries. He's more of a "full contact" kind of kid.
So Cole is usually the one who has to leave since he gets fed up the most. How do you solve a problem like a Grant? (I don't want to write a whole song about it, but Cole can be just as unbearable to Grant in other ways - like how he always steals things and runs away. He knows Grant can't catch him.)
Anyway, I did a comprehensive study to determine motives in basket dwelling. The results were immediate and conclusive: Even when each boy was given their own basket, Grant was unsatisfied until he was in the same one with Cole.
Sorry, Cole. That's brotherly love-live with it.On deck news, some braces were added for stability, and several boards were screwed down on the top. It's fun to walk around on it and pretend we have a real deck. Pop is truly incredible when it comes to this stuff. I'm not sure how he seems to know exactly what to do even though he's never done this before, but he's very thorough in making sure everything is perfect. Everyone should be happy to know this when you're standing on it 10 ft above the ground, eating your hamburger.

That's hilarious!! I love the pictures of them squished in the basket together.
