Okay, here's our first ferry of the day with cousin "Juju".
One of the ferries was not working so we had some time to spend waiting for the next one. Cole found out that sticky things tend to stick to things. (Yes, that is a berry flavored fruit snack stuck to the window and yes, he did pull it off and eat it immediately following the taking of this photo.)
On the big ferry at last and time for the obligatory family photo.
It was hot enough to melt a bronze octopus. Or something to that effect.
Once inside the science museum deinonychus and his yellow footed protege ponder their next messy kill.
Later, Cole emerges from the south end of a north bound caterpillar ...
... while Grant is still working his way through the giant inflatable intestine.
Now they pause to pet a millipede.
Time for another caterpillar encounter outside of the ...
... butterfly room!
Inspired by the metamorphosis of the lepidoptera Grant tries but only manages hymenoptera formicidae.
Fortunately, on the ferry ride home we sat next to a video game which kept the boys blissfully occupied.
Mark this day down and thoroughly seized!

How fun! I always think about going to the Pacific Science Center when we are in See Attle, but haven't made it there yet.
Growing up in Olympia, my favorite exotic place of alllll time was the "Seattle Science Center" (we called it). Memories memories memories. I'm sure it has everything to do with why I went into the ARTS.
And ferry rides! That was a regular adventure as well -- always just for the heck of it. I remember the commuters sighing at us kids running up and down the aisles pointing excitedly out the window or off the bow. The BEST part was docking with all its bumps and grinds.
You have a blog! What a fun surprise. I could have been keeping tabs on you all along. Now I can stalk you to my hearts content. (good thing you know me so you won't be scared by that comment). Seattle is such a fun place to visit. WE lived there for a year, and that was about as much as we could take with all the traffic. You know you are officially an old fart when traffic bothers you. :)
What a fun trip! Looks like the boys enjoyed the science center and the ferry rides.
