'Twas the Night Before Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve at the Zabriskie's home. After dinner (which included some incredible rotisserie chicken) the boys decorated and consumed cupcakes. What little didn't make in their mouths remained on their hands and faces. But the real fun began after they gave the boys a BIG! DUMP! TRUCK! Grant immediately latched onto it and Cole seemed content to play with all of the other toys, except for the ones Grant was able to load into the back of the truck while he ran laps through the house. Grant even insisted on carrying the truck home on his lap.
And then he refused to go to bed without it close enough to touch, as if it might drive away in the night. Thanks Mona & Papa Z!

Looks like Grant will be continually making upgrades to bigger and better conveyances. The new ones should keep him happy carrying a LOT of stuff. He will undoubtable be a massive heavy equipment operator, hauling great big stuff. What a guy!

Sue, Becky and I gave the same truck to our three year old Cooper this year. He and our 1 year old take turns having rides in it. They even sit in it and reach down and turn the wheels like a wheelchair to get themselves around! Nothin' beats a Tonka!
